Scalp Massages While Wearing Kinky Twists or Braids

Kinky Twists

This is the second part of the series that contains “How to utlize scalp massages while wearing kinky twists”. This series contains one of the main components of how to increase hair growth while in twists or braids. Regardless of the type of twists style or braided style you are wearing, you can use these steps in the series.

How I maintain kinky twists, how I wash kinky twists, and my hair care routine while I’m in braids is a three part series.

How to Wash Kinky Twists

Scalp Massages for Hair Growth

Now if you really want to focus on scalp massages for hair growth now would be a great time. Kinky twists and other braided and twisted styles allow you to freely get to your scalp without messing up the currently style. I use jojoba oil or coconut oil and gently massage my scalp. Make sure to use your finger tips only. You can do this for 5-10 minutes twice a week and right away you will see a:

•Healthier scalp

•Healthier hair (helps oxidize the scalp)

•Reduction or elimination of dandruff

•Faster hair growth (because of the increase in blood flow to the area)

•Shiner hair

•Increase in hair thickness

I do this because I work out 3-4 times a week. When I work out I tend to sweat more so than not. Sweat can cause build up on your hair, block hair follicles from growing, and prevent your hair from growing to its maximum growth. So my hair routine keeps my hair smelling clean, fresh, shiny, and it keeps it healthy.

Hot Oil Treatments for all hair types!

Other oils that can be used:

•Jojoba oil

•Coconut oil

•Extra virgin olive oil

•Peppermint oil

•Tea tree oil

•Rosemary oil

I have done this routine for the past 3 years and have worn kinky twists over six different times. This routine has truly helped my hair grow. It eliminates and prevents any dandruff and stops and prevents all itchiness associated with wearing any types of braided or twisted style.

Because of how my hair grows, it’s thickness, and the products I use. I always have to rebraid or retwist the nape and front edges every four to five weeks.
