Dry flaky scalp is a hair/scalp condition that affects so many individuals. I personally know the woes of having dandruff, and the strong desire to get rid of it. I have search and experimented with so many dandruff removing treatments and remedies, I now know what works and how to stop dandruff dead in its tracks!
After you get rid of your dry flaky scalp...Make your hair softer, stronger, and silker...
•A build up of waxy products
•Hair dyes or hair chemicals that have burned the scalp
•Skin disorders like: Eczema
•Naturally occurring fungi
•Poor nutrition
Dry flaky Scalp can occur in certain situations or seasons of the year, but for the severe cases, dandruff is a chronic hair issue.
Step one is to switch to an all natural shampoo. This natural shampoos have the ability to provide a ph balance to your scalp along with removing any buildup safe and effectively. Where as dandruff shampoos themselves only provide a temporary cure for those little while flakes. Also the chemicals that can be found in the dandruff fighting shampoos can actually have a worse affect on your scalp if you are allergic or have a sensitive scalp.
Examples are: Burts bees, Aubrey Organics , Avalon Organics, Beauty, Without Cruelty , Giovanni , Herbatint, Nature's Gate, Naturtint, Organix, Peter Lamas, Tints of Nature
Step two is to use an all natural scalp scrub. This will remove any residual flakes that are lingering on your head or scalp. One thing that I found about this scalp scrub is that it is much gentler then any commercial shampoo that contains sulfates. I have a very sensitive scalp and this certainly has relieved me of any white flakes or scalp itchiness. I have two versions of the scalp scrub.
